Pausha Purnima is considered a highly auspicious full-moon day for prayers, daan (charity), and compassionate service. On this sacred occasion, daan offered with pure intent is believed to bring spiritual merit, blessings, and inner peace. At Krishna Dham Gaushala, we are sheltering and caring for 1500+ injured, rescued, and stray cows—each one needing daily fodder, clean water, medical support, and safe shelter.

Many cows arrive with wounds, infections, fractures, weakness, or long-term neglect. Their recovery is not a one-day task—it requires consistent feeding, timely medicines, dressing, and round-the-clock care. We are doing our best every single day to keep these gentle lives safe and treated, but the needs are continuous and large. Your help on Pausha Purnima is especially important because it strengthens ongoing seva and ensures that no cow is left hungry or untreated.

Where your Pausha Purnima donation will be used:

  • Daily fodder – green grass, hay, and nutritious feed for 1500+ cows
  • Medical care – medicines, dressing, injections, and recovery support for injured cows
  • Clean water & hygiene – safe drinking water, cleaning, and basic shelter maintenance
  • Safe shelter – bedding, protection from weather, and long-term care resources
