During the festive rush, many are left hungry, dehydrated, frightened, or injured due to traffic, fireworks, sharp waste, and sudden disturbances. Through this Holi season, Krishna Dham Gaushala is running a dedicated Vanar Seva campaign to support feeding and treatment efforts for monkeys—so that compassion becomes the brightest color of all.

Holika Dahan – Turning Ritual into Responsibility

Holika Dahan symbolizes the victory of compassion over cruelty and faith over harm. As we light the sacred fire, it reminds us to burn negativity and protect life in all its forms. Unfortunately, during Holika Dahan, monkeys often suffer due to smoke, loud noise, crowd movement, and unsafe leftovers. Many lose access to food and water as public spaces change overnight. This sacred night calls for mindful action—where devotion is expressed through protection, care, and kindness toward voiceless beings.
