On the sacred occasion of Gopa Ashtami, Krishna Dham Gaushala is organizing a grand Yagya for Gau Mata with a very large community gathering. Recognized as Dehradun’s biggest gaushala, caring for 1500+ cows, we invite devotees and well-wishers to participate through our Yagya Seva “products” at ₹1,100, ₹2,100 and ₹3,100. Your contribution supports the complete Yagya arrangements and strengthens daily seva—fodder, medical care, shelter upkeep, and compassionate management of our cows.

Project Details

The Gopa Ashtami Yagya is conceived as a collective prayer for universal well-being, ecological harmony, and the welfare of Gau Mata. Under the guidance of learned purohits, the Yagya will be conducted with proper vidhi, including gau-pujan, havan, and concluding aarti. Our arrangements cover every essential component: setting up multiple havan-kunds, ensuring a continuous supply of pure ghee and samagri, and maintaining disciplined queues so devotees can comfortably participate without rush. To serve the large gathering, we are arranging shaded seating areas, drinking-water points, a cleanliness crew, and audio support for bhajan-kirtan and announcements. Prasad distribution will be organized in batches to avoid crowding, and a volunteer team will guide senior citizens and families.

Since Krishna Dham Gaushala shelters 1500+ cows, our responsibilities extend well beyond the Yagya day. Your support helps us procure quality fodder—charra, bhusa, and mineral mixes—along with essential medical supplies and routine veterinary checkups. We also maintain clean, dry bedding and safe enclosures, especially for rescued, aged, and special-care cows. During the Gopa Ashtami period, footfall is high; therefore, we strengthen hygiene protocols across sheds and common areas, deploy extra hands for muck management, and keep a standby veterinary team to address any emergencies. All spending is documented, and utilization reports can be shared on request to uphold transparency and donor trust.

Beyond logistics, the Yagya is an invitation to deepen our connection with Gau Mata and Sanatan values. Offering even a small portion towards the sacred fire is considered highly meritorious; it purifies the heart and supports sustainable cow care. Families may include their gotra for the sankalp, and memorial dedications can be made for departed loved ones. We also welcome CSR collaborations and group contributions that cover specific heads like fodder stock, medical kits, or infrastructure. Every devotee, whether present physically or participating remotely, becomes a pillar of this seva. Together, let us organize a dignified, well-managed Yagya and ensure that compassionate cow protection continues every single day.
