Emergency on the Roads Help Us Get Our Gau Mata Ambulance

Every single day, countless innocent animals our sacred Gau Mata and other creatures—suffer horrific injuries in road accidents around Dehradun. They are often left wounded, terrified, and in critical pain. When we receive an urgent call at Krishna Dham Gaushala, the race against time begins, but we are severely limited by a lack of proper transport.

Every minute of delay due to inadequate vehicles means prolonged agony for the animal, and, too often, the tragic loss of a precious life. Our compassion is not enough—we need the right tools to act.

Not long ago, a pregnant Gau Mata was struck by a speeding vehicle. She lay broken, unable to move, her eyes pleading for help. Our team rushed to the site, but without a dedicated ambulance, we were forced to transport her using makeshift arrangements—a slow, bumpy journey that worsened her already critical condition. Despite our best efforts, the trauma of the journey was too much, and we tragically lost both the mother and her unborn calf.

This heartbreaking incident reminds us daily of a critical gap in our service: we urgently need a dedicated, fully-equipped Animal Ambulance now.

On behalf of Krishna Dham Gaushala, we appeal to your compassion and generosity to help us secure a crucial asset: a dedicated Animal Ambulance. Every day, we work tirelessly to rescue, treat, and shelter injured and abandoned animals, currently caring for over 1,250 voiceless souls. Our biggest challenge lies not in the treatment, but in the trauma caused by the transport itself. Tragically, because we lack a dedicated animal ambulance, when we transport critically injured animals in regular private vehicles, their existing injuries become significantly worse, and their suffering is magnified many times over.

Daily Accidental Arrivals: We receive an average of 3 to 4 new accidental or severely injured animals every single day.
